Episode XCIV: More California
The last time I posted, I wrote about my California escapades. Guess what? This post is about some more California escapades. (!!!) First of all, I was at UCLA last week (June 22-26), along with the rest of the lab, for a science conference. It was a good meeting, and we learned lots of neat things. A scholarly luncheon I also had some time to spend with my family in L.A., going to the Getty Villa... ...the Griffith Observatory... ...and Pink's hot dogs! Second, as I type this very message, I am preparing to fly off to California yet again to go on a backpacking trip in the Sierras with the Norris boys and the Norrises (Dad's brother's folk). It should be a blast. And only a couple of weeks after that, I will be returning AGAIN to California (yes, that would be my fourth trip to that state this summer) to get married!
