Reasoning that hot dogs are a quintessential element of Memorial Day Weekend, Meg and I bought ourselves a pack of hot dog franks and decided to incorporate hot dogs into at least one meal each day of the holiday weekend.
Saturday it was a brunch of hot dog and broccoli quiche:
Sunday a hot-dog Frito pie:
And finally, on Monday, some plain old hot dogs:
Working
Did you know that my wife is currently working in the same lab as me? Well she is! She will be starting graduate school here at Harvard in July, but for the time being she is working in my lab, just the way things were back in Kansas. Which means she's there to share in my free food events, lab activities, and an occasional break from the daily grind for a game of ping pong on the third floor.
Buying a Condo
Meg and I have been shopping around for some housing roundabout the Cambridge area, and we found something that we really liked. We put an offer in a few days ago, and it was accepted that very day! Much more info will follow, assuming everything goes OK and we eventually get the house. For now, though, here's us celebrating our impending large purchase by eating a bowl of Top Ramen for dinner.
