I met Amanda Cox about a year ago at (where else?) the open gym volleyball at the student rec center. We have been together, depending on the reckoning, for about two-and-a-half months. One would think that I would have already posted about her during those two-and-a-half months, wouldn’t one? Well one would be wrong. My apologies.
Amanda is an undergrad here at KU and is studying film and journalism. She comes from
One thing that is interesting about the two of us is that we share almost nothing in common. Well that’s a bit of an exaggeration. We do share the letters in our first names. In fact, the name Amanda contains the letters A-D-A-M, just in a different order, and with a couple of superfluous characters added on.
The photographs herein (be sure to check the slide-show up top) should be sufficient to convince you that she is a very pretty girl, so I will not belabor the point. What the pictures may not convey, however, is what a sweet, cheerful, wonderfully good-natured load of fun she is. Well she is all of those things and more. She is a delightful person to be with.
The last word for today: one thing that we share in common is that we are both professional models. Below is a photo that some guy took of us for a KU-related project. We did not get paid, so I guess we are in fact only semi-pro models. But the photo looks good, no?
I just looked at the post, and man, there are a lot of kissing pictures. Ick! Sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteIck indeed! J/K. She sounds like a great girl. What's the story on the picture in the slideshow showing a bowl of what appears to be fettucine alfredo? I believe the caption is something about a "historic meal"?
ReplyDeleteOr maybe it's salad?? You know I like details about food...
ReplyDeleteAmanda is one lucky girl! :)
ReplyDeleteDeyon
awe...that was a very sweet post for introducing your girlfriend (I would expect nothing less from you)! She sounds like a terrific girl.
ReplyDeleteRegarding food (which I like just as much as brandi does), we are eating at one of the oldest continually-run restaurants in America. The Hays House, I believe it started serving in around 1856. Good food, great place. She is eating seafood pasta, I prime rib.
ReplyDeletecongrats on ku winning and your girlfriend. k, have fun.
