Episode CLXXV: Winter Cabin

Elliot had some days off of daycare at the beginning of 2021, so we took another road trip to a secluded Airbnb ("cabin number three" as Elliot called it, referencing our recent similar excursions). This time we were off to the Texas Panhandle.

Cabin number three was located right on Lake Cisco, with excellent lake views.

We experienced some rare Texas snow on our first day there. The previous day it had rained all day in Dallas. In the Texas Panhandle, it had snowed all day instead.

We visited the ruins of Fort Griffin, a United States cavalry fort originally built for protection against Comanche raids.

Back at the cabin, I had a chance to try out my  brand new hammock.

Elliot's favorite part of every trip so far, as he's happy to tell you, is "playing cars in the cabin." Here he is playing cars up in the upstairs loft bedrooms.
